Expert Witness Reports
Since 2018 I have prepared expert witness reports for clinical negligence cases relating to intensive care medicine and anaesthesia. I am a practicing NHS Consultant with dual accreditation in intensive care medicine and anaesthesia.
As an intensive care consultant, I have expertise in all areas of general intensive care medicine. As an anesthetist I have expertise in a wide range of adult anaesthetic practice.
I prepare evidence for the Court in matters of clinical negligence and personal injury in the UK and Republic of Ireland.
My clinical expertise is supported by comprehensive training in medicolegal reporting, and I hold the Cardiff University Bond Solon Civil Expert Certificate.
I am based in Leeds, and my NHS practice is at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust (LTHT). LTHT is one of the largest trusts in the NHS, providing secondary, tertiary and supra-regional services to patients in Leeds, West Yorkshire and across the UK.
It comprises 7 hospitals, and treated 1.7 million patients in 2022.
